I have been drawing Things in Museums for years, loving the sense of the hands that stitched, moulded, painted, carved.
As a Designer Maker of practical things for daily use, my sketchbooks give inspiration for decoration. Recent output includes three very different cats, based on a brass mask in the British Museum, wooden ship’s carving in the National Maritime, and an acrobatic toy in the Museum of Childhood.
80% of my latest run of prints use recycled textiles.
